Melodi unveils iConvert iPhone portal

Gives D2C firms an iPhone optimised destination for selling ringtones, wallpapers and celebrity news.

Melodi has a background in D2C and personalisation, and it owns a large catalogue of content and information services localised for round 30 countries.

It found that many D2C firms struggle to convert their iPhone traffic because they can't download the content to their Apple device. iConvert can be built into the site as a whitelabel offering with content supplied by Melodi, and the ability to integrate an billing system.

Melodi founder Iain Kerr said: Despite industry predictions we still are seeing huge volumes of ringtone, music and personalisation downloads internationally. Our iconvert solution is designed to help the existing marketers make the move to targeting iPhone users using the traditional subscription model."
