Melodi makes Funky Pigeon's innovative new service possible
Last November, Melodi partnered with Bluefish Media to create an end-to-end video greetings solution for leading custom greetings cards provider, FunkyPigeon.com.
In the run-up to Christmas, FunkyPigeon.com launched the online video message service, where users buying a greetings card online would be given the chance to record a video greeting from their webcam.
Uploading the video to our cloud storage solution, Melodi manages the on-the-fly coding and delivery for each video with the recipient being able to view via QR (Quick Response) or sms codes for printed in each card.
Melodi's unique expertise made this all possible, from our cloud storage and mobile video encoding specialities, to our extensive experience with mobile web and early adoption of emerging technologies like QR Codes, tied together by our robust CMS and content delivery system.
